Spark Health Corps

AmeriCorps State and National awarded Spark the Change Colorado a $249,547 grant to create the Spark Health Corps in 2022. TheSpark health Corps will have 20 AmeriCorps members who will provide Tier 1 and Tier 3 mental wellness counseling and education to vulnerable K-12 students at 10 public charter schools throughout Colorado. At the end of the first program year, the AmeriCorps members will be responsible for increasing the number of students reporting a change or intent to change behavior to improve their mental health. After their year of service, AmeriCorps members will pursue future engagement in the public health sector.
